Tim Yanacheck has been engaged in a civil trial practice, primarily for the defense, for over 30 years.
Tim's jury trials and appellate work have focused on civil rights, personal injury, medical malpractice, product and premises liability, property loss, and insurance coverage issues. As part of his civil rights practice, Tim has built a record of success on behalf of law enforcement officers and their employers.
Before earning his law degree from Marquette Law School (J.D.1974), Tim served for two years in the U.S. Army (honorable discharge, 1971), and graduated from Carthage College (B.A English, 1969). He is admitted to practice before the state courts in Wisconsin, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
In addition, Tim practice has a special emphasis on workers compensation defense. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for over 10 years, and has been named a "Super Lawyer" in Wisconsin workers' compensation law in Milwaukee Magazine.
Outside of the practice of law, Tim runs ultramarathons and triathlons, restores and maintains prairie land, and enjoys wilderness backpacking.
